Destruction of garden harms many

Dear Community:
This letter is to inform any gardeners to be aware of human beings entering and stealing produce completely. We “rent” a large garden in the community of Dodge Center. This does “not” mean we raise for the community. It’s work that has healthy benefits, including sharing with others.
Our garden “was” beautiful until, in broad daylight, an individual came in and stole the majority of our harvest which included zucchini, butternut squash, cucumbers, green beans, pumpkins, tomatoes, and flowers.
They stomped on the remaining vines to destroy any future growth. We had company for a couple of days with the extreme heat so did not harvest at that time. They were clearly aware of that.
In the past, we have donated 2,000 pounds of food to the food shelves to help others.
We are extremely disappointed with the violation of our time and money. We could have shared with others. That won’t happen for anyone now.
