The decaying bridges of Dodge County

During the Nov. 22 meeting of the Dodge County Board of Commissioners, county engineer, Guy Kohnhofer, presented an extensive list of potential county road and bridge repair and replacement projects that could see progress over the next five years.
All plans outlined during the 2017 Capital Improvement Project (CIP) public hearing are, of course, contingent on securing the necessary funding from county, state and federal entities over the next five years, so Kohlnhofer stressed, repeatedly, that the projects were merely plans, not promises.
“There are no promises in any of these plans,” said Kohlnhofer. “I want that perfectly clear.”
