Rep. Dick Anderson, IR-Waseca, announced today that he has been appointed to the Roundtable on Higher Education Program Duplication. “I’m pleased to join this group and I plan on devoting a good deal of time during the remainder of my term to this issue,” Anderson said. “Certainly, the experience of Waseca tells us it can’t stop there. If there is duplication, let’s eliminate it throughout the state.” The legislature has called for an evaluation of program duplication among Minnesota’s 67 college campuses statewide. The study will be conducted by the Legislative Audit Commission during the coming year. Oversight will be provided by the joint House/Senate Roundtable, chaired by Rep. Ann Rest.
