DC Girls Hockey remains undefeated

The Dodge County Girls Hockey team is still undefeated after eight games, following a weekend win against Mound Westonka/Southwest Christian.
The Wildcats got on the scoreboard first, with a goal in the first period, following a second goal in the second period to take a 2-0 lead.
Mound Westonka/Southwest Christian made things interesting late in the third period after scoring with less than six minutes left, but in the end the Wildcats held on the win.
For the Wildcats, Hannah Peterson and Daisy Harens had goals in the win, and Harens had an assist. Alexa Van Straaten also finished the game with an assist for the Wildcats.
Behind the net, Ida Huber finished the game with the win stopping 20 out 21 shots.
