Clifford was born in Hayfield Minnesota to Alfred F. Thoe and Emma Jeannette (Gulbranson) Thoe on 06-16-1936. He grew up and helped on the family farm in Hayfield, graduating from Hayfield High School. In 1956, Clifford went into the Army and served overseas in France for 2 years. He then went on to work for Moretrench American Dewatering Company for 49 years until he retired.
On November 26, 1965, Clifford Married Euphemia Taylor of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He always said that she was the "love of his life". They remained married until his death. They had two children: Terrance Thoe (1966) and Elizabeth Thoe(1968).
For those who knew Clifford, he was very smart, had well developed common sense, was handy like MacGyver and could fix anything. He was witty and loved a good laugh. He would help anyone anytime he was able, and he was an overall good person. He was great to his children and his grandchildren. He provided many wonderful memories and trips for his grandchildren, whom he had a special connection with.
Clifford was preceded in death by his brothers: Ronnie Thoe, Ralph Thoe, Oliver Thoe, and Donald Thoe. He is survived by his spouse Euphemia Thoe, his children: Terrance Thoe and wife Kim of Eva Beach, Hawaii, and Elizabeth Thoe and husband Jason Birdwell of Humble, Texas. Six grandchildren: Ty McCulloch and wife Jordan of Ellis, Kansas; Shylo McCulloch of Wichita, Kansas; Spencer Collins of Abilene, Texas; Johnathan Calvert of San Antonio, Texas; Halen Thoe and Dillon Thoe. One Great Granddaughter, Aoife McCulloch of Ellis, Kansas. His sisters: Norma Bjork of Rochester, Minnesota; Wilma Kyllo and husband Ralph of Hayfield, Minnesota; Harriett Redalen and husband Noel of Chatfield, Minnesota. And many nieces and nephews. 
Clifford was loved by many and touched many people's lives in a positive way.  He will be missed.
