Cheryl L. Deppe, age 54, of New Richmond

Cheryl L. Deppe, age 54, of New Richmond died after a yearlong battle with cancer Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at the Deerfield Gables.  She was born the daughter Feb. 21, 1962, in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota.  Cheryl graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1980.  Living in New Richmond, Wisconsin, she was a self-employed upholsterer.  Cheryl was a devoted mother and over the years, happily made many sacrifices for her children.  She was a devout Christian and carried with her a strong faith.  Throughout her life, Cheryl always loved music and she proudly listened to her family perform at their church.  She will be missed by her children, Elise (Taylor) Simpson, Joseph (fiance’ Alleah) Deppe, Matthew Deppe; grandchildren, Henry and Belle Simpson; mother, Viola Christianson; siblings, Dawn (Dean) Peterson, Karen “Casey” (Dan) Zander, Kristi (Don) Selchow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Christianson. A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at The Bridge Bible Church (701 Rivard Street) in Somerset.  Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 25, from 4-7 p.m. at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel in New Richmond and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
