BREAKING NEWS: KM school bus involved in accident

A Kasson-Mantorville school bus was involved in a property damage vehicle this morning.
Karlyn Brewington, communications director at the district, notified parents by email that Bus #2 was involved in the accident at the intersection of 16th St. NE in front of the high school just prior to the start of the school day.
There was minimal damage to the bus and all students are safe, she said. Initial reports indicated there were no injuries. Students were transferred to another bus and dropped off at their respective school buildings.
She added some students were a little shaken up and would be comforted by counselors in their respective buildings.
