Betty June Knudson, 84, Dodge Center

Betty June (Larsen) Knudson peacefully passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, surrounded by family.  
Betty was born May 6, 1931 in Redwood Township, Minnesota.  Betty came to teach at the Dodge Center Seventh-day Adventist Church School where she met and married the love of her life, George Knudson. Betty and George were married on Aug. 6, 1951.  
Betty worked for many businesses in Dodge Center, the last position being with Dodge County Extension Office as a secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1990. 
In October 2007, Betty had two strokes which left her without use of her left side and mostly in a wheel chair.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Dodge Center Seventh-day Adventist Church at 4 p.m. where she was a member.
