Be careful what you wish for

A lot of people are celebrating the Trump Putin sledge hammer and MuskOx chainsaw that are doing their best to play whack-a-mole with our economy, our government services, our humanity, our foreign relations, our health, and any regulation that is perceived to stand in the way of big business.
Perhaps not the veterans who voted for him (them) and are seeing their well-deserved VA benefits delayed and even eliminated; or the people who voted for him and are now seeing the international customers for their crops and other products look elsewhere; or the people who voted for him and will soon lose their Medicaid health benefits, or their SNAP food-safety benefits, or their jobs that were related to the services that got arbitrarily sliced in pieces; or the people who voted for him and will find that their favorite national park has restricted access due to lack of personnel; and soon perhaps it will be the people who voted for him but won’t like paying an extra couple of dollars for a 12-pack of soda or beer because of tariffs on aluminum; and maybe even the people who voted for him and are now seeing their retirement nest eggs lose a big chunk of value in just the first couple months of the 48-month term.
But perhaps some of the rest of the population is celebrating.
