Alice Wobbrock, 94, Claremont


Alice Mae Kruckeberg Wobbrock, 94, of Claremont, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Alice grew up in Claremont and graduated from Claremont High School in 1950. After graduation, she was employed by Josten’s in Owatonna. Alice was united in marriage to Lloyd Wobbrock on May 29, 1952, in Owatonna. They made their home in Claremont and owned and operated Wobbrock Trucking. Alice was responsible for dispatching duties and did some occasional driving. She was a bus driver for Claremont and Triton schools for 31 years.
Alice was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Claremont and Redeemer Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Owatonna after they merged. Alice enjoyed bowling, stock car races, gardening, fishing, camping at Cedar Lake in Faribault, watching the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves and Gophers, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alice is survived by her sons, Scott Wobbrock (Lisa Aronson) of Dodge Center and Bob (Julie) Wobbrock of Claremont; grandchildren Jeff (Ashley) of Haslet, Tex., Michelle Wobbrock of Dodge Center, Amber (Zac) McGaughy of Haslet, Tex., Kylie (Brady) Hickey of Dodge Center and Jake Wobbrock of Claremont; eight great-grandchildren, Nic, Ethan, Brylee, Sophia, Caden, Toby, Millie and Decker; sister-in-law Kim Kruckeberg of Rochester; brother-in law Chuck (Jan) Wobbrock of Medford; sister-in law Doris Wobbrock of Mankato; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd, sister Lorraine Nelson and brother Ronald Kruckeberg.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Harold Storm officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Claremont. Memorials are preferred to Hillside Cemetery in Claremont.
