After 6 decades a staple in Kenyon closes its doors

On Friday, May 31, Milo Peterson Ford in Kenyon closed its doors.
An employee answered the phone of the business on Monday, and confirmed the business closed.
“Yep, we did,” he said. “We’re just here in sales right now just kind of getting things tidied up, but yes we did close.”
Later in the day, another employee answered the phone who said, “the owner has told me that he doesn’t want any story.”
“He just doesn’t want any story about us closing,” the employee then told the DCI.
In an email Cathleen O’Hare, a spokesperson for Ford wrote,“We cannot contractually comment on any closings of dealerships.”
“Dealerships are independent businesses, and you would need to contact the owner for any information,” she wrote.
