GoFundMe account set up for K-M teacher injured in car crash

A GoFundMe account has been started for Hannah Mickelsen, 24, a Kasson-Mantorville teacher who was seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a snowplow on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Thursday on County Road 24, east of West Concord, just west of the County Road 7 intersection, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

K-M teacher airlifted after car-snowplow crash

 
A Kasson-Mantorville teacher was airlifted to Rochester Thursday morning after a crash involving a car and a snowplow on County Road 24, east of West Concord, just west of the County Road 7 intersection.
 According to Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose, shortly after 7 a.m. on Thursday Dodge County 911 Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a car versus snowplow truck crash.

Breaking News: Blooming Prairie man arrested for Las Vegas murder

Rice County authorities have arrested a Blooming Prairie man in connection with a fatal shooting of a Nevada man last week.
 
On Wednesday night, sheriff’s deputies took Mark Doocy, 60, into custody at the Flying J Truck Stop along Interstate 35 in Rice County. Doocy kept officers waiting for more than four hours until a chemical irritant was used on him twice before he was captured, Sheriff Troy Dunn said.
 

BREAKING NEWS: Fatality in Dodge County

An early morning crash has claimed at least one life in Dodge County. 
The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. on Highway 218 south of Blooming Prairie in Westfield Township. 
The State Patrol says a Toyota Camry was southbound on Hwy. 218 when it collided with a northbound vehicle. The Camry caught on fire. 
Assisting at the scene were Steele, Dodge and Mower sheriff’s offices.
