KoMettes heavily decorated at end of season

The K-M dance team finished up a tremendous season last week as they  became the HVL section champs in Jazz routine.

KoMets return to state tournament

Over the course of high school tournaments, it’s understandable if a team should falter during the intense pressure that comes with the territory. For the Kasson-Mantorville wrestling team, they’ve been able to block that out and find a way to get to the state tournament seven out of the past eight years after defeating Albert Lea to claim the Section 1AA dual championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Kasson-Mantorville wrestling team finished off its HVL season this past week after picking up victories over Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Goodhue.

Six lifters qualify for national meet

The Kasson-Mantorville powerlifting team participated in the USAPL High School National Qualifying Meet on Feb. 6.

Wildcats one win from state tournament

For the Dodge County girls hockey team, its run through the section tournament has taken a clichéd path similar to that of a Cinderella story.
With victories over Rochester Century and Farmington last week, the Wildcats suddenly find themselves one win away from the state tournament as they’ll face Lakeville South at 5 p.m. in Owatonna Thursday night.

Wildcats earn victory against Waseca

This season’s path for the Dodge County boys hockey team has been one that has strived to see improvement throughout the season. While those improvements seem to be spaced out , there have been times where the Wildcats have put everything together.
One of those moments came on Jan. 19 when the Wildcats traveled to Waseca and defeated the Blue Jays 3-2.
