Thankful for making new memories

I met my wife when I was 22 years old and had been living in Minnesota for less than a year, after moving from Rhode Island.
Since then, we have made a lot of memories, including many firsts for myself.
I went to the State Fair for the first time with her, went to my first Twins game, first Vikings game, Timberwolves game, and countless other things.

I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at my email last Tuesday, while putting together the paper, to find an email from Karen Jorgenson, editor of the DCI.
Earlier that day, she had gone in for heart surgery to replace her aortic valve.

New school year, new superintendent at Triton

I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer. I am excited to begin working with our school board, wonderful staff, and community as superintendent. It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve the Triton communities of Claremont, Dodge Center, and West Concord.
