Byron girls’ track wins  Chuck Ramthun Invitational

The Byron High School girls track and field team won the annual Chuck Ramthun Invitational hosted by Byron last week with a score of 234.5 points.
Kasson-Mantorville High School girls’ team finished in fourth place with a score of 85.
On the boys’ side, Stewartville won the meet with a team score of 195 points.
Byron finished in third place with a score of 136 points, with Kasson-Mantorville one place behind with a team score of 126 points.

McKenzie Schultz (left) and Avery Warndahl ran the 3200-meter race at the Chuck Ramthun Invitational on April 22. Schultz won the race with a time of 12:47.9722 while Warndahl finished second with a time of 12:50.51.
