CONCORD TOWNSHIP REQUEST FOR QUOTES

Concord Township is accepting quotes for the following:

Crushed rock, 5000 yards more or less, crushed to 7/8” shall conform to specification No. 3138 (class 2), except that the material passing No. 200 sieve shall be modified to less than 10% fines.  The Township requires rock to be delivered and truck spread by May 15, 2016 on selected spots before the chloride is applied.  The remainder of the rock shall be delivered & truck spread by June 15, 2016.  Penalty fees will apply if haul dates are not met.  The quote shall be itemized by material and truck spreading/ delivery fees and shall include rock specification.

Hourly rates for equipment for miscellaneous road construction that may be performed during the season.  State size and type of equipment.

All quotes, along with a certificate of insurance showing proof of worker’s compensation coverage, will be reviewed at the regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Concord Town Hall.  The Concord Township Board reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive defects and to award in the best interest of the Concord Township. 

Quotes can either be mailed or delivered to the Clerk by March 10, 2016 before the monthly meeting, or can be delivered to the Clerk at the montly meeting by 7:00 pm.
