Mary Ann Heiserman, 65, Kasson
Mary Ann Heiserman, 65, of Kasson passed away on May 1, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Mary was born on February 24, 1957, in Waseca, to James and Arlene Christenson.
Mary was a 1975 graduate of Kasson-Mantorville High School. After high school, she attended Rochester Vocational Technical College. She met the love of her life, Jim Heiserman, in the spring of 1976. They married on August 6, 1977, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson. In September of 1992 they welcomed their only child, Dakota.
Mary worked at Owatonna Tool Company, IBM, and Mayo Clinic-Rochester. She retired from actively working due to the advancement of her MS.
Mary enjoyed regular outings with her sisters. She was an avid shopper. She was a devoted mom to Dakota and a loving caregiver. Mary enjoyed collecting angels and sunflowers.
Mary is survived by her husband Jim and her son Dakota. She is also survived by her brother James (Carol) Christenson; her sisters Carol (Jerry) Boyd and Joyce (Lenny) Jenson; father-in-law Jack Heiserman; brother-in-law Les Heiserman; sisters-in-law Grace (Wayne) Steele and Jean E. (Gary) Brannon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Jean Gerving, brother-in-law, Bill Gerving, and mother-in-law, Dusty Heiserman.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, prior to the funeral at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave. NW, Kasson. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
