Kristi Kay Bradford, 39, Kasson
Kristi Kay Bradford, 39, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was surrounded by those who loved her.
Kristi was born on January 16, 1984, in Rochester, MN to Matt and Andrea Bradford. She lived at home with her family in Kasson, MN for almost 17 years before moving to the Cenneidigh Group Home in West Concord, MN. She spent 19 years in West Concord before moving to the Cardinal Komet Korner Group Home in Mantorville where she resided the past three years. Kristi attended school at Kasson-Mantorville.
Kristi enjoyed rocking with her dad, special tuck-ins from her mom, weekly visits from Grandma H. (which almost always included some of her favorite homemade treats), visits from her sister, brother-in-law, and niece, music, the wind in her face, people watching, and chocolate. Although she couldn’t speak, she taught those of us who loved her many life lessons. She gave much more than she ever asked for from others.
Kristi is survived by her parents, Matt & Andrea Bradford; sister Jennifer (Jeremy) Wohlfiel; niece Avery Wohlfiel; grandparents Alfred and Kay Hodge as well as her uncles, aunts, cousins, and her numerous caregivers and roommates. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Charles and Betty Bradford and aunt Ann Bradford.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 4th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave. NW, Kasson, MN with Pastor John Wiesenberger officiating. Visitation will be at the church Friday, February 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour before the service. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kasson, MN.
