Kimberly Kay Fisher, 52, of Owatonna

Kimberly Kay Fisher, 52, of Owatonna, formerly of Claremont, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 unexpectedly in her sleep at her home.
She was born March 23, 1964 in Owatonna the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Ballstadt) Kidder. She attended Claremont High School and graduated in 1982.
She married her soulmate, Dale Fisher, on June 26, 1982, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Litomysl. She and Dale lived in Highland of Owatonna and Bixby and later moved back to Owatonna where they raised their two children. Kim worked at Taco Johns of Owatonna since it opened in 1986. She helped start the Open Arms Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program in Owatonna and was extremely involved in planning various fundraiser events for it, including Jacob’s Run and the Ride for Hope.
Kim loved riding motorcycle with Dale, going to Sturgis every year and on other trips around the country. She also enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Dale of Owatonna; her children, Craig (and Anna) Fisher of Mankato and Chad (and fiancée Bobbi Falde) Fisher of Owatonna; her grandchildren, Alexander and Victoria Fisher and Lohgann Falde-Hoaglund; her siblings, Diane Erler of West Concord, Robert Kidder of Owatonna, Jean Kidder of Owatonna, David Kidder of Owatonna, Rich (and Ernie) Kidder of Plymouth, Brian Kidder of Maui, Hawaii, Kevin (and Julie) Kidder of Rochester, and Michael (and Pam) Kidder of Owatonna and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Kidder Jr.; sister, Deb O’Regan, brothers-in-law, Lloyd Erler and Scott Fisher; sister-in-law, Lorna Kidder.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
