Joann Alice Zelinski, 89, Rochester

Joann Alice Zelinski, 89, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at River Bend Memory Care.

Joann was born on December 14, 1932 to Keith and Dorothy (Wilberg) Caswell in Anoka.

She graduated from Mantorville High School. Joann married Robert Zelinski in Mantorville and they had five children. They were married for 60 years. Robert died in June of 2014. She was a homemaker on the family farm. 

Joann enjoyed painting, sewing, playing cards, miscellaneous crafts, sightseeing, and spending time with her grandkids.

Joann is survived by her children, Michael, Jennifer, Alex, Keith, and Leigh; five grandkids, Derek, Ashley, Afton, Kaitlin, and Christopher; three great grandkids; and brother, Steve Caswell.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and three brothers. 

A private service was held.
