Jack (LeRoy) Maurice Starkson, 71, of Wasioja, MN passed away on Dec. 30, 2015, in Rochester, MN.
A celebration of life for Jack (LeRoy) Maurice Starkson was held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery in the spring.
Jack was born on May 8, 1944, the son of Burton and Ruth (Gronvold) Starkson in Olmsted County. He graduated from Byron High School. Jack was united in marriage to Dianne Wytaske in 1974, and they later divorced.
Jack served in the Army from 1963-1967, in Alaska. Jack started working with Donaldson Construction in 1968, until 1987, when he worked for Mueller Pipeline until his retirement in 2005.
Jack enjoyed auctions, toy shows and spending time at the lake with his grandchildren in Waterville and going to Best Point Resort.
Jack is survived by his sons, Scott (Marisa Terpstra) Starkson, Claremont; Chris Tucker, Dodge Center; Joel Tucker, Wasioja; Kevin Tucker, Rochester; Robert Tucker, Kasson; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Sheila Meyer, Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; four brothers; and twin grandsons at infancy.
