Byron Bears ‘Giving Back’

The Byron Bears celebrated their annual Giving Back Initiative on the last day before the Thanksgiving holiday. Giving Back is an opportunity for the students and staff at Byron High School to show their gratitude for all they have by sharing with others. Above, representatives of the high school stood with the items they and others at the school contributed. Right and below, after the assembly the students gathered up the items and took them to the vehicles of the recipient agencies. Each grade collected donations for a specific group. Causes supported by this year’s event included Byron Food Pantry and Community Closet (9^th grade), Rochester Youth Services (10^th grade), Rochester Women’s Shelter (11^th grade) and Ronald McDonald House (12^th grade).
