Byron gymnasts compete at state
It was quite a state meet week with the pending weather, but the Byron trio of Amber Roble, Sophia Mullenbach and Lydia Evans made it to the cities well in advance.
Amber Roble had a great last state gymnastics meet. She finished 14th in the All-Around and made the podium one last time on beam, taking sixth place with a score of 9.325.
Teammates Lydia Evans and Sophia Mullenbach also made it on the beam to state. Lydia had a solid showing, fin`1ishing tenth with a score of 9.225. Sophia had a fall unfortunately, but outside of that, she finished strong with a score of 8.25.
Amber continued her all-around with a 9.05 and teammate Lydia Evans also scored a 9.05 on floor. Amber was on her own for the last two events in the all-around competition. On bars Amber finished with an 8.325 and on vault she finished with a 9.3. It was a great finish to a great season.
