How did a teacher change your life?

With the new school year kicking into full gear this past week, the Dodge County Independent is searching for stories about teachers.Specifically, we’re looking for area teachers who’ve made an impact on their students. We want area residents, young or old, to share stories about the teachers who have made a difference in their lives. We are confident that everyone has someone who did something or said something or believed something about them that changed the way they thought, or learned, or felt. The one who made such an impact on our lives that 10, 20, 30, 40, even 50 or more years later, these people stand out. We would like residents to submit a 300 word or less story about their teacher experience. We plan to publish the stories during the month of November as part of American Education Week,
which is celebrated Nov. 16-20. Please submit your stories by emailing to dci@kmtel.com or mail to DCI, 105 1st St. NW, Kasson, MN 55944 or they can be brought in person to our office.
