The following cases were heard in Dodge County District Court the week of June 18 with Judge Debra A. Groehler presiding:
Ramon J. Ruiz, 43, Zumbrota, previously appeared and was convicted of felony check forgery. He was sentenced to $205 and 20 months in St. Cloud State Prison.
Noble Thompson IV, 50, Dodge Center, previously appeared and was convicted of felony predatory offender registration violation. He was sentenced to $1,080, no possession of firearms, no alcohol or controlled substance use, do not enter liquor establishments, cognitive skill training, 100 hours of community service and 3 years of supervised probation.

Blotter Spotlight: Noise: Deputies received a complaint of a dirt bike disturbing the peace at 5th St. E. and Mantor Dr. in Mantorville at 3:47 p.m. on June 17.

Harassment: At 12:53 p.m., a harassment incident occurred in the 200 block of Front St. E. in Claremont.
Assault: Deputies responded to an assault in the 100 block of 9th St. SE in Hayfield at 5:26 p.m.
June 15
Vandalism: At 8:18 p.m., a Pine Island resident reported a bullet was lodged in her garage door in the 56000 block of 270th Ave.
June 16
Juvenile: Deputies received a juvenile complaint from the 400 block of 10th St. NW in Dodge Center at 12:01 a.m.
Assault: Deputies responded to an assault in the 500 block of West St. in Mantorville at 12:48 a.m.
June 17
Fire Deputies responded to a house fire in the 25500 block of County Hwy. 34 in Kasson at 10:29 a.m.
Child Neglect: Deputies responded to a disturbance involving child neglect in the 200 block of 1st St. SW in Dodge Center at 9:34 p.m.
June 19
Larceny: At 2:04 p.m., a snowmobile trailer was reported stolen from the 64200 block of 240th Ave. in Kasson.
Suspicion: At 3:11 p.m., deputies received a report of a male carrying a sledgehammer and wearing an orange hat and hardhat at Front St. W. and Main St. N. in Claremont.
June 20
Environment: At 5:26 a.m., trash blew out of a garbage truck onto the road in the 62200 block of 240th Ave. in Kasson.
Vandalism: Property damage was reported in the 61800 block of 240th Ave. in Mantorville at 10:20 a.m.
Larceny: At 10:51 a.m., a phone was stolen from the 400 block of 1st St. NW in Dodge Center.

Juvenile: At 4:43 p.m., juveniles were in a smoke shop in the 300 block of Mantorville Ave. S.
Missing Person: Police assisted with a missing person in the 200 block of 5th Ave. NE at 5:03 p.m.
Suspicion: Officers responded to suspicious activity on Veterans Memorial Highway E. at 5:53 p.m.
Disturbance: Police responded to a domestic assault at 1st St. NE and 1st Ave. NE at 8:40 p.m.
Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from the 700 block of 2nd St. SW at 9:14 p.m.

Juvenile: Police received juvenile complaints from the 300 block of Countryview St. at 2:01 a.m., the 600 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 6:35 a.m. and the 700 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 10:58 p.m.
June 16
Suspicion: Officers found suspicious activity in the 100 block of Windsor St. E. at 1:36 a.m.
Welfare: Officer conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Veterans Memorial Highway at 8:24 a.m.
Fraud: Officer took a fraud report in the 800 block of 5th St. NE at 2:16 p.m.
June 17
Crash: At 10:40 a.m., a motorist blew through two stop signs and hit a vehicle at 2nd St. NW and 2nd Ave. NW. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DWI.
Fraud: At 12:49 p.m., a resident reported fraudulent charges to his checking account.
June 18
Suspicion: Police responded to suspicious people at Casey’s at 12:34 p.m.
June 19
Fraud: At 10:27 a.m., an attempted larceny on lumber occurred in the 200 block of Main St. W.
Welfare: Officer conducted a welfare check on a female sleeping in a van in the 200 block of 2nd Ave. NW at 4:15 p.m.
Juvenile: Police received a juvenile complaint from the 1400 block of 4th St. NW at 4:46 p.m.
Animal: At 6:15 p.m., a dog attack occurred in the 800 block of Westfield Court NW.
Juvenile: At 6:46 p.m., juveniles were being disruptive at the pool in the 200 block of 7th St. NW.
June 20
Trespassing: At 2:55 p.m., a trespassing incident occurred at the Kasson License Bureau.
Suspicion: Police found a car parked at the pump house in the 100 block of 7th St. NW at 9:32 p.m.
