Thank you to those who came to help
To the Editor:
Recently, via Facebook, I reached out looking for recommendations on someone local I could hire to pick up leaves and sticks in our yard. It’s an annual event my wife and I don’t mind doing. However, my wife recently had her 12th brain surgery. Thus, we have a few other things on our plate right now.
The leaves and sticks were something that would just have to be hired out this year. Almost immediately, Mark Wilcox commented and said not to worry about it. He would grab a crew and come over to our place and take care of it.
On Saturday morning, October 29, Mark, along with Neil Zimmer, Orion Hardwick, and Michelle Olson Wilcox, came over, picked up our leaves, sticks, and got rid of them. Besides wanting to thank all of them for their kindness, my wife and I saw this an opportunity to share something good that happened in our neck of the woods.
