Innovator takes EVs to another level

Fisker, the name attached to a pair of utility scissors, is no showing up on highways in America. An all-electric Fisker Ocean is poised to revolutionize the electric car industry.

Here’s the claim of this new kid on the block of electric cars (EVs): “With the Fisker Ocean’s revolutionary full-length SolarSky roof, you can harvest the sun’s rays to generate free energy to support the vehicle’s battery-powered motor. When fully exposed to the sun, the Fisker Ocean Extreme’s SolarSky can produce up to 1,500 clean, emissions-free miles per year, and under ideal conditions may increase to beyond 2,000 miles* — all powered by pure sunshine,” the innovator and owner of this car company, Henrik Fisker said.

Tremendous idea!

Someone not chained to conventional thinking that we all have to switch to electric cars by 2035 or we all die.

His idea of a solar panel on his car’s roof is genius. Especially if one lives in California, Arizona or Florida where overcast, snow and rain are less prevalent. Even someone living in Kasson, Mantorville or one of the other Dodge County hamlets, can support the idea of utilizing something that is free for the taking (sunny days that may begin to be realized in our backyard soon).

Right now, technology is limited to about 300 miles for EVs such as Tesla, Ford, Chevy, Toyota and Honda. Keep in mind that the evolution of EVs is just in its infancy. Innovation and creativeness have no target dates to convert from petroleum-based travel to electric. Genius is aggressive and kicks the sides out of boxes politicians and activists place on a concept.

Henrik Fisker may be the Henry Ford of the 21st century. His idea will certainly push the creative mind of Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, who is prone to go beyond the SolarSky. It’s competition that will drive the EV market. It’s what has taken the government agency of NASA to the privately held SpaceX shuttling of astronauts to the space station.

Will the petroleum industry be scrapped? No. It will be driven to be creative and resourceful just like Musk and Fisker are to develop the cars of the future.

Keep in mind, that the evolution of an EV car is like a space craft that will explore the outer reaches of the galaxy is not happening. It takes time to develop these cars.

Once the automobile is perfected, then there’s the combine that works our farms, freight hauling trucks, airplanes, and ships that move goods from our Asian and European manufacturers to the shores of America.

Bear in mind that Henry Ford’s cars evolved through the decades of the 20th century to what they are today.

Great minds will drive the EV market and beyond.

CREATIVE THINKING

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.
