Pamela Elise Sklenicka, 71, Kasson

Pamela Elise Sklenicka, age 71, passed away at her home in Kasson, on April 4, 2022. She was born November 6, 1950 in Wadena to Lloyd and Katherine (Oothoudt) Bollin.

Her family moved around a lot, always staying in Minnesota. She graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1968, and later got her two-year degree in accounting from Duluth Business School.

In 1974, she met and married Ronald Sklenicka. They moved to Foley, Minn. in 1986, where they lived until retirement in 2013. After retirement, Pam and Ron moved to Kasson to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Pam will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving, caring woman. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and welcomed all friends as though they were family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Sklenicka and her children Sasha Crutaire of Rochester, Dave and Heather (Bosse) Sklenicka of Rochester, Becky (Sklenicka) and Adam Clark of Mantorville, her four granddaughters (Ivy Sklenicka, Julia, Samantha, and Autumn Clark), her sisters Pat (Bollin) Voltin and Peggy (Bollin) Frisbie, her brother Robert and Margaret Bollin, her sister-in-law Sandra (Sklenicka) and John Goman, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law Leonard Sklenicka and mother- in-law Wilma Sklenicka, brother Richard Bollin, brothers-in-law Kenneth Voltin and Harold Frisbie, and sister-in-law Janet Sklenicka.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Donations can be made to the Kasson Public library in her memory.
