Mathew ‘Matt’ Mark Kleeberger, 66, Kasson

Mathew “Matt” Mark Kleeberger, 66, of Kasson, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Saint Marys Campus in Rochester.

Matt was born on May 23, 1955, in Northfield, to Maynard and Marion (Hall) Kleeberger. He graduated from Kasson-Mantorville high school in 1973. He then when on to receive his heavy equipment technician degree from Dakota County Technical college. He worked for over 20 years in that field and went on to become a Volvo master technician.

On June 11, 1977, he married Nancy Jensen at Pleasant Corners Methodist Church. 

Matt enjoyed fishing and camping, four-wheeling, grilling, and collecting construction equipment toys.

Matt is survived by his wife, Nancy Kleeberger of Kasson; children, Shianne (Bracy) Bahm of Pine Island, and Katie Kleeberger of Rochester; and brother, Steve (Barbara) Kleeberger of Bemidji; and special nephew, Tye (Lisa) Kleeberger and their son, Abel of Pine Island.   

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William “Bill,” Timothy “Tim,” and Jeremy “Jerry.”

A memorial service was Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Kasson United Methodist Church, with Reverend Clint Patterson officiating.
