Westfield Razorbacks send 2 to state tournament
Westfield grapplers competed at the 2023 MSHSL Section 2A Individual Tournament, on Saturday, February 25, at Maple River High School. Westfield State Entrants in State Tournament: 132 Bo Zwiener; 145 Cade Christianson;
“We had a good showing today at section individuals. A number of guys wrestled very well and placed high in the tournament. Bo and Cade are both headed back to state again this year. They’ve both wrestled well throughout the entire season, and both are looking forward to competing at the state tournament again,” said Coach David Lassahn.

K-M wrestlers win seven individual titles
On Saturday, February 25, at the Section 1AA individual championships, the Kasson-Mantorville grapplers brought home seven of the 14 titles after a great effort at the Mayo Civic Center. In all, K-M will be sending eight individuals to the MSHSL individual state tournament at the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul (Jonah Coleman (120) won his wrestle-back match to join titleists Broc Vaughan (106), Joey Kennedy (145), Luke Swanson (152), Dominic Mann (160), Glazier (170), Eli Richardson (195) and Heath Parrish (285). Next stop now for the KoMets is the MSHSL Class AA team wrestling state tournament at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
