KoMets prepare for a big week

Kasson-Mantorville’s KoMets made quick work of their triangular last Friday night in Stewartville.

The KoMets beat the Tigers by a wide margin, 70-6. Up next was Goodhue where the boys went on to secure another HVL conference victory over the Wildcats, 56-9.

This week is a full week for the KoMets. They have a total of ten matches. On Tuesday, they were scheduled to cross the border to the east and head into Wisconsin for a quad with G-E-T, Decorah, and Eau Clair Regis-Altoona. The KoMets were to run in to a few state-ranked wrestlers from each team.

Friday night the KoMets will host a triangular vs Pine Island and Waseca. Wrestling starts Friday night at 5 p.m. It is also Parent’s Night, Senior Night, and Cancer Night. There will be a pulled pork dinner being served in the commons as well as the silent auction.

The KoMet tradition continues on Saturday! The KoMets host the annual Swalla Tournament. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m.

The Swalla schedule is as follows:

R1: KM vs Caledonia

R2: KM vs LARP

R3: OFF
