K-M volleyball team sweeps weekend tourney

Kasson-Mantorville volleyball girls accepted an invitation to Eastview last weekend, and they, like good guests should, helped themselves to all of the accolades available. It was the Eastview Lightning Invite, and the KoMets were electric throughout the weekend play.

Friday, October 15th’s action saw K-M defeat Sauk Rapids-Rice, 2-0.

K-M kept their slate clean on Saturday, with a win over Rosemount, 2-0; and a 2-1 decision over Minneota.

Kasson-Mantorville’s team utilized an aggressive defensive effort to defeat second-ranked and undefeated Stewartville, 3-2, on Tuesday, October 12. Set scores were 25-22, 22-25, 18-25, 25-18, and 15-7.
