‘Sippin’ With Seniors’ Friday in Kasson

“Sippin’ With Seniors,” a new activity at the Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson, will be Friday, February 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. This is the second month for the event that will be held on the last Friday of every month.

Prairie Meadows has been hosting a resident happy hour on Fridays, but staff recently decided to expand on their happy hour concept by inviting in the community one afternoon a month.

“Everyone is welcome,” said Madelyn Noonan, community director at Kasson’s Prairie Meadows. “It’s about creating a social atmosphere for our residents and the community.”

There will be appetizers, beverages and live music. The events are free and open to the public.
