Byron, K-M take home top drama honors

Hiawatha Valley League Conference One-Act Festival awarded top honors to Byron and Kasson-Mantorville High Schools, naming them Starred Productions and Conference Champions on January 21.

In its 29^tth year, the Festival judges also named the following performers from our area All Conference: Chloe Callahan and Noah Amundson from Byron; and Mckenzie Holz, Taylor Godbout, and Kcin Siegele from Kasson-Mantorville.

The annual Festival was held at Rochester Lourdes High School. Kasson-Mantorville performed “Dark Road” and Byron presented “The Velveteen Rabbit.”
