Then & Now

Members of the Kasson Auto Club in the early 1900s were driving on the main street in Kasson near the former City Hall and the livery barn which was located nearby. In 1939 Norway's Crown Prince Olaf stopped for a quick visit in Kasson at the City Hall on his tour of various sites in Minnesota and the USA. Olaf became Norway's king in 1957 and died in 1991. His son Harald then became king and continues at this present time. (Old photos courtesy of Ron Musolf and the 1965 Kasson Centennial book.)
